Have you ever wondered why some of your teammates get on your nerves?

What is DISC?

DISC is an assessment tool used for determining someone’s behavior profile or, more simply put, their style of interacting with the world. Each person is a unique combination of the four primary traits of Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance.

Knowing how you and your teammates approach the world can be like turning on a lightbulb. All of a sudden you realize… So, that’s why Jim takes so long to make a decision. This is why Jen withholds her opinion at meetings.

Our DISC assessments, developed by TTI Success Insights, are backed by decades of scientific research and data. They are shown to be 90% accurate in identifying someone’s behavioral profile.

How can DISC be used in a business setting?

  • Identify the natural strengths of your team

  • Improve communication and reduce misunderstandings

  • Cultivate more meaningful relationships between managers and employees

  • Understand how individuals approach tasks, deadlines, relationships, conflict, and more

  • Learn to identify behavioral patterns in others and adapt your communication style to their preferences

  • Improve efficiency by matching teammates to assignments that fit their natural strengths

  • Increased self-awareness and emotional intelligence

What is a DISC workshop?

  • A team-oriented and interactive workshop geared towards:

    • Learning DISC

    • Understanding yourself

    • Understanding others

    • Improving communication

    • Building relationships

    • Identifying strengths

  • Intro to DISC Training (4 hours)

  • Digging Deeper Into DISC – 3 follow up trainings/1 per quarter (60 minutes each)

Why DISC with Team Builder Training?

Focus on Teams.

We focus on using DISC as a tool that can be used to enhance communication and productivity and relationships within teams.

Ongoing Training.

A half day workshop on DISC is great, but the truth is, it rarely has a long-term impact on your team. By developing a series of follow up workshops, our goal is ongoing learning to ensure a lasting positive impact on your organization. Take what you learned in “Intro to DISC” and learn how to apply it.

Detailed Reports.

Our DISC assessments dig deep and provide multipage reports that are useful to individuals and managers. We also generate a team report that shows where each person is plotted on the DISC wheel. We can also run comparison reports between managers and their direct reports with tips on communication.
